
We are the Ahnaria Nile Club, of the Daughters of the Nile. Our Club is located at the Sahara Shrine Center in Pine Bluff.
Daughters of the Nile was founded in 1913 and is open to ladies 18 years of age or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason, or Daughter of the Nile; or a Majority Member in Good Standing of a Masonic-related organization for girls; or who was a patient, with or without Shrine or Masonic relationship, at a Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
With 24,000 members in 137 cities across the country, the Daughters of the Nile are devoted to supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children® through a variety of fundraising activities. In fact, this dynamic group of women has donated more than $45 million dollars to the hospitals. Volunteers also sew quilts, dolls, surgery gowns and more for patients in the hospitals.
Daughters of the Nile wear a distinctive crown for special events and ceremonies.
